There’s Still Time to Shop Local in Spokane!

Grab Your Last Minute Gifts at These Local Treasures

We’re mere days, nay, HOURS before stores close for the holiday. If you’re like me, you’re down to the wire with more than one person still on your shopping list. If you’re tempted to make a late-night Walmart run because you’re just not sure what other options you have, you’re not alone! BUT there are lots of local businesses offering incredible products and services, who really need extra love and support this holiday season.

Here’s a list of 14 local businesses you still have time to shop at this holiday season:

4000 Holes Records in North Monroe. This is a staple of the Spokane music scene and one of the most beloved independent businesses in town. Pop in to buy vinyl, merch, and more.

Earthing Nova is a woman-owned, green business that offers apothecary soaps, bath bombs, and herbal body oils. They also offer a variety of services for helping women transition through some of life’s hardest changes.

Stories ‘n Stoneware is a woman-owned business that sells fun, unique, and beautiful homemade mugs and tea wear.

Atticus Coffee and Gifts is a staple in Downtown Spokane, and perfect for grabbing that last-minute stocking stuffer or white elephant gift. They were also featured as one of our top independent coffee shops in Spokane this year (curious about the other two? Find out here).

B&G Sweet Heat Peppers can be found online and in various retailers around town. Their small-batch products are the perfect gift for those who love to sweat!

Black Sheep Paper Co is *THE* go-to spot for everything stationery. Their products are quirky and full of personality. If that sounds like someone on your list, then start on their website. Shop online or find out where their goods are sold locally.

Boo Radley’s is a downtown favorite, and bound to have something for everyone on your list! You’ll find comic book memorabilia, coffee mugs with goofy quotes (my favorite “keep Spokane weird”), books, figurines, and more.

B-Side Games is a hobby shop that specializes in board games and cards. This is the perfect place to search for Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic the Gathering fans (and so much more)!

Cheeky Beauty Bar in the Perry District is not only an incredible local business, they’re also hugely supportive of other women-owned businesses in the area. And, they sell gift cards *wink wink*

Spokane Art Supply on Monroe has been family owned since 1954! Whether you’re shopping for a serious artist or a hobbyist crafter, you’ll find the perfect gift here.

Wheel Sport Bikes has 4 locations around Spokane and CDA, and sell bikes and bike accessories. You’re bound to find something for the biking enthusiast in your life, in a convenient location!

Gaming Grotto is your home for everything Magic: The Gathering and they have gaming accessories and video games to boot. This Monroe gem even accepts trade-ins for in-store credit.

Giant Nerd Books offers new, used, and rare books, and (as if you’d expect anything else!) “vintage barware and natural history specimens.” You can find their goods in their shop or in other iconic spots, like Boo Radley’s (see above).

FatGirl Yoga is a woman- and LGBTQ-owned business with an incredible mission - to provide judgment-free classes for every body. Right now, they’re offering small group classes online, making this an easy purchase for the aspiring yogi in your life.
